Some sessions just feel easy.
Not because someone walks in totally confident or knowing exactly what to do — but because the energy is right from the start. Conversation flows, nerves fade fast, and by the time we’re done with makeup it already feels like we’ve known each other a while.
This was one of those sessions.
She brought a friend for support, which I always love. The vibe was light, relaxed, and honestly just fun. We were laughing, talking, easing into everything naturally. By the time we started shooting, it didn’t feel like “photographer and client” anymore - it just felt like we were hanging out and creating something really good together.
When the energy is right, everything else follows so easily.
She had this strong, effortless personality — the kind where you can tell she knows who she is. Amazing tattoos, great presence, and totally open to the experience. The kind of woman you want to envy, but can’t because she’s too kind and too cool.
That combination always photographs beautifully.
Not because someone is trying to “be sexy,” but because they’re comfortable enough to just exist in front of the camera, and also comfortable taking direction from me, trusting me and my experience. That’s where the best images come from.
“I’ve never felt sexier in my life.”
After her session, she shared this:
“She made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire experience and I just love the finished product! I would tell any of my friends to book her. I’ve never felt sexier in my life than when I saw the final pictures!”
And that’s the part people don’t always expect. It’s not just about having a fun shoot. It’s about seeing yourself differently when it’s over.
Most women don’t walk in feeling confident.
This might surprise people, but the majority of clients are nervous at first.
They worry about:
how to pose
what to do with their hands
how their body will photograph
whether they’ll feel awkward or ‘silly’
And then about fifteen minutes in… something shifts. They relax. They trust the process. They start having fun. And by the end, they don’t want it to be over.
The best sessions feel collaborative! The ones that really stand out always feel like a shared experience. We talk. We laugh. We adjust as we go. We follow what feels natural instead of forcing anything.
It’s not about performing! When that pressure disappears - when you stop trying to perform and start settling into yourself, that’s when your breathing slows, your shoulders drop, you stop wondering how you look and start feeling present in your body again.
There’s a quiet kind of confidence that shows up in that space. Not loud. Not forced. Just real.
Sometimes it feels like rediscovering parts of yourself you haven’t paid attention to in a long time - the playful side, the soft side, the grounded, self-assured version of you that exists underneath all the noise of everyday life.
And when you reconnect with that, the camera just follows. Nothing is staged. Nothing is exaggerated. You’re not performing. You’re remembering who you are, why you showed up, and letting yourself be fully in the moment.
You can finally come home to yourself.

Thinking about booking your own session?
If this has been on your mind for a while, you’re not alone. A lot of women sit with the idea for months, or even years before reaching out. And almost every single one says the same thing after:
“I wish I had done this sooner.”
If you’re curious, start there. Ask questions. Get information. No pressure. You don’t have to decide today.
But if and when you do - I’ll be here, camera ready, probably already feeling like we’re going to get along great. And doing everything I can to be sure you have one of the best experiences of your life.
