For years, I've known the importance of creating this piece to showcase the magic that unfolds during our beauty and boudoir sessions in Houston, TX. After much planning, organizing, and a dash of courage, I finally made it happen, and I couldn't be more excited to share it with you all.

As a Houston-based beauty and boudoir photographer, my mission has always been to create a safe and empowering space for women to explore their unique beauty and sensuality. This video is not just a glimpse into the process behind our photoshoots; it's a celebration of the journey we take with each of our clients. From the initial consultation to the final reveal, every moment is a testament to the strength and beauty within every woman.

Pulling together a team of incredible women to help bring this vision to life was an absolute dream. From the talented hair and makeup artists to the amazing videographer, every person involved poured their heart and soul into this project, and I am forever grateful for their dedication and passion.

Creating this video was more than just a ‘marketing strategy’ for me; it was a personal challenge to step out of my own comfort zone and showcase the heart and soul behind Kimberly Brooke Boudoir. It took investment, preparation, and a whole lot of organization, but seeing the final result has made every moment worth it.

So, why did I make this video? Simply put, I wanted to give you a glimpse into the magic that happens behind the lens with Kimberly Brooke in Houston, TX. I wanted to show you that boudoir photography is not just about taking beautiful pictures; it's about empowering women to embrace their beauty and feel confident in their skin.

This ‘promo’ peek behind the scenes, is a window into the journey that happens during a boudoir session. I wanted to pull back the curtain and reveal the beauty in the process—the laughter, the moments of vulnerability, the posing instruction, and the raw, unfiltered emotions that are captured through the lens. Boudoir photography is about so much more than aesthetics; it's about empowering women to see themselves in a new light, to embrace their unique beauty, and to feel confident and empowered in the skin they’re in. It's about celebrating every curve, scar, and imperfection as a testament to the beauty of being authentically and unapologetically oneself. After a few hours together in such an intimate setting, a sort of bond forms between myself and my clients. We laugh, we chat, and we create images that capture not just their outer beauty, but also the depth of who they are. This connection makes each session unique and fulfilling. I'm reminded of the privilege it is to be a part of each of my clients’ journeys, and I'm grateful for their trust in me.

Houston Boudoir | An Honest Review

This amazingly beautiful, kind, funny, sparkling woman shot with me recently. We chose her favorite images for her album, then she later came back and said she had to have more of them, she just couldn’t leave them behind. She was truly proud of her photos and felt so amazing about herself after the experience that she knew she wanted to have every image she loved in her album. I’m so glad she did. We added the images and her album was spectacular. While I can only show you anonymous images from her shoot, I just had to share a few because I loved this session, loved this woman, and loved all of her images so much! How would you rate your experience with KBB on a scale of 1 - 10?: 10

Tell us about your experience. What was your favorite part? : I can't compliment Kimberly Brooke enough for such a beautiful and empowering experience! I purchased this boudoir session as a gift for my husband for our anniversary, but I soon realized that this was really a gift for both of us. I was nervous going into this experience and didn't feel like I had enough time to "prepare" my body, but after reading reviews, I realized one will never feel like they are perfectly ready so I just went for it! WOW, I was floored by the outcome.

Kimberly made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. She guided me throughout the whole process and chose poses and settings that were tasteful and sexy. She has so much experience and brought my personality and sexiness to life in ways that I didn't think were possible. The entire process was so fun- from the hair and makeup at the beginning of the shoot, to the day of the reveal. All of it was filled with laughter and she was so helpful every step of the way!

When Kimberly revealed the photos to me, I was speechless! I had no idea she captured what she did and I felt so proud and confident. What a gift she gives so many women! My husband was beyond surprised and still can't believe this gift! I am so thankful for what Kimberly has given me. I would encourage all women to spend some time with her and do this for themselves. To my friends that say they aren't ready, I tell them that they will never feel perfectly "ready'… but I am so glad I went for it! Trust me, you will be so happy that you did!

Houston Boudoir Photographer | HTX Here We Go

I’m finally sharing a few images from my first boudoir session in Houston, TX since relocating! It only took me a few months.

For those of you who don’t know yet. I actually started my photography business in Houston, well over a decade ago, before moving to Austin in 2012. Well now it’s come full circle. My family moved back to Houston this Fall after a lot of prayer and consideration. I’m so excited to continue with photography, be closer to family, home, some old friends, and a lot of new ones… all that good stuff. While I will still serve my existing and new Austin clientele, I’m excited to now call Houston my home. Austin, I will always love you. Houston, here we go!

This gorgeous gal was so fun to spend the day with in the new studio space. There are a few similarities to my Austin studio, and so many differences. The light was absolutely dreamy that day. It was great to explore this new space while shooting, and get creative in fresh ways. Even as an artist, you can get used to an environment and need something unknown to push your creative vision. I didn’t prep before shooting in the new space because I wanted to find my way as I went through that first session, using my own creative eye and energy to figure out what worked. It was awesome. While I miss my Austin studio, this place definitely made me feel a new energy and excitement about shooting. Here are just a few images we captured of the beautiful Miss H that day.
